During the MediaTek conference introducing its new 5G processors, Xiaomi joined the party to announce that its next smartphone will be the first to host one of the firm's chips. He was even given a baptismal name: Redmi 10X. And if we thought that it was simply the code name of the future Redmi Note 10, it is indeed a new range that seems to point.
A range dedicated to young people
According to GSM Arena, Xiaomi would target a new target with this X range. As Realme can do with its smartphones, the objective of this Redmi 10X is to make young people grumpy thanks to a product equipped with the latest technologies, without this having a too strong impact on their portfolio. This smartphone should therefore offer a bright screen, as the four posters seem to demonstrate the presentation of May 26. Based on what we imagined to be the Redmi Note 10, an Oled screen should equip the Redmi 10X. To please a young target, there is no doubt that the photo part will be of a good level.
For Xiaomi, young people seem above all to be in search of performance and speed. This is why the latest MediaTek chip was chosen, since it offers 5G connectivity. According to the first benchmarks, the Dimensity 820 chip exceeds 400,000 points on AnTuTu. This is equivalent to performance equivalent to the Snapdragon 765G or Kirin 985, mid-range chips incorporating a 5G modem. What offer a competitive smartphone in the segment, without competing with the other ranges of Xiaomi.
The X series will not only be the name given to new smartphones. Indeed, a trio of televisions should appear in the program, of three sizes: 50, 55 and 65 inches that we imagine in LCD panel to keep prices affordable.
