Xiaomi will unveil its top-of-the-range phone of the year 2021, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4, in August. It will be Xiaomi’s first smartphone to be equipped with an under-screen camera, and we know it now more on this one.

The famous Ice Universe leaker yesterday unveiled on his Twitter account more information about the front camera of the smartphone, which will be well hidden under his screen. According to him, the front camera of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will be completely invisible to the naked eye. So, we can expect that the renderings above match the actual design of the smartphone.

With its Xiaomi Mi MIX 4, the Chinese manufacturer would therefore do better than its competitors. Indeed, the ZTE Axon 20 5G, the first smartphone to have adopted the technology, does not completely camouflage the front camera, since you can always spot the area where the sensor is hiding. The Korean giant Samsung would not have managed to completely hide the sensor on its Galaxy Z Fold 3, as the official images of the smartphone had shown us.

What do we know about the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4?

In addition to offering a selfie camera under its AMOLED FHD + 120 Hz display, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 should use very high-end components. Indeed, the smartphone would be powered by the new Snapdragon 888+, the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 888. It would be powered by a battery of 5000 mAh compatible with fast charging 120 W. That’s almost twice as much as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which is content with 67W wired and wireless fast charging.

This is not the fastest technology from the Chinese manufacturer, since it had recently introduced the 200 W wired fast charging, which allows a smartphone to go from 0 to 100% in just 8 minutes. However, we still expect the device to be able to recharge in just twenty minutes.

Unfortunately for us, it should not be possible to take advantage of the smartphone in France, since Xiaomi would only plan to release it in China. According to information from MyDrivers, it would be marketed at a price of 5,999 yuan (781 euros), the same price as the Mi 11 Ultra. You will therefore have to import it if you want to test it.
