Xiaomi yesterday presented the French versions of the Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Lite 5G. The two new arrivals in the Mi 11 range stand out for their excellent technical characteristics, low price and unmatched finesse.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Lite 5G are not much different from each other. The first is powered by a Snapdragon 732G, while the second is equipped with Qualcomm’s new mid-range chip, the Snapdragon 780G. This processor is a direct successor to last year’s Snapdragon 765G, and promises excellent performance that doesn’t have much to envy at the top of the range.
Both smartphones use a 6.55-inch 10-bit AMOLED DotDisplay display, which can display up to 1.07 billion colors, 64 times more than their predecessor. The screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sample rate, and HDR 10+. However, we can note that the screen of the Mi 11 Lite 5G is protected by Gorilla Glass 6, against Gorilla Glass 5 on the 4G version. Finally, both phones are powered by the same 4250 mAh battery, compatible with 33W wired charging. It will unfortunately take skip wireless charging.
The Mi 11 Lite 5G is the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone
With a thickness of only 6.81 mm for 159 g, the Mi 11 Lite 5G can boast of being the thinnest 5G smartphone in the world. Both smartphones benefit from very thin borders, since they measure only 1.88 mm. This finesse does not prevent them from being equipped with Dual Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified speakers.

For selfies, the Mi 11 Lite 5G opts for a 20 MP sensor, while it will be necessary to be satisfied with a 16 MP sensor for the 4G variant.
