In terms of design, the Series 1 is gaining in volume (+3 centimeters wide, +1.3 centimeters in height), and its grille borrows from SUV X5 and X7. BMW, which aims to move upmarket, was inspired by the 3 Series to dress up a cockpit full of technologies: driving assistance, voice control, charging the smartphone by induction, etc. According to the first testers, the pleasure of driving is at the rendezvous. Offered in three gasoline engines and five diesel, the Bavarian remains however among the most expensive of its category, with prices starting at 27,150 euros and amounting to 54,500 in its xDrive version (4 x 4) of 306chevaux.
