In a straight line and starting from a standstill, a BMW M4 can do absolutely nothing against an Audi RS 5 Coupé.
The BMW M4 Coupé will soon be upgraded to a completely new model generation. The current version, in its base version, develops 431 horsepower via a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six.
The current Audi RS 5 Coupé uses a 450 horsepower twin-turbo V6. But it is above all its all-wheel drive that makes the difference, during a standing start race against the BMW M4 on medium-quality tarmac.
Audi victory, but …
In this three-way match, refereed by the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (V6 510 hp), it is the Audi which wins quite clearly. But note that the BMW is doing much better in the rally test. And we know that against the clock on a lap, the BMWs have no lesson to receive from anyone in this category.
