You can often see all kinds of cars on the Nürburgring. Recently, a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo with license plates caused a sensation.
It is indeed a Huracan Super Trofeo recovered and adapted to TUV approvals, so that it can be circulated legally on the road network. Unveiled in 2014, this sports car was, and still is, used in a championship managed by the manufacturer, among others.
It therefore differs from the standard model by a body kit and equipment fully designed for competition. Roll bar, unpainted carbon fiber, numerous aerodynamic appendages, as well as an imposing spoiler make it a real pistarde. In addition, this version intended for racing has been relieved of its all-wheel drive.
In terms of its engine, the 5.2l V10 atmospheric generates some 612 horsepower, for 570 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, we learn from the description of the video that the car caught fire on the track shortly after the shooting of the video…
A similar variant of the Huracan is expected to be unveiled by Lamborghini shortly. It will thus make the happiness of a lucky few, handpicked by the brand.
