This August 26, Cyril Lignac and Jérôme Anthony made an appointment with the French to make a magnificent recipe for mille-feuilles with fresh strawberries. Something to delight your taste buds at the end of summer!
Every evening, Cyril Lignac treats the French! In All in the kitchen, a program broadcast on M6 and which he co-presents with Jérôme Anthony, the chef presents a dish and dessert recipe so that viewers can make simple but wonderfully good dishes. And all this with the family, please! This August 26, the chef and the TV host were accompanied live by two best friends, a family but also Alizée, Grégoire Lyonnet and the daughter of singer Annily. Something to delight even more fans of the singer interpreter of Me, Lolita. On the menu, at the end of August, a risotto and a strawberry mille-feuille. We have followed the recipe for the dessert signed by Cyril Lignac for you … At your stove!
Ingredients for 4 persons :
a roll of puff pastry
150 gr of caster sugar
50gr of icing sugar
25 cl of very cold liquid cream
vanilla icing sugar
200gr of fresh strawberries
Step 1: the arlettes cookies
Unroll the puff pastry on your work surface. Take the sugar that is placed on the puff pastry evenly, then massage the dough with the sugar. This allows the dough to caramelize during cooking. Turn the dough over to sweeten the other side. Then roll up the puff pastry like a cigar. Once the roll is formed, cut pieces perpendicularly to form small spiral rolls. Then flatten the rollers flat on your counter with a rolling pin. Sweeten again.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet. At the last moment before cooking, add more sugar. Place parchment paper on the cookies, on which you add a baking sheet so that they cook flat in the oven already preheated to 200 °.
Step 2: whipped cream
Pour the cream into a bowl and beat it until it rises like light whipped cream. Add previously cut diced strawberries. Mix it gently so as not to break your whipped cream. Place it in the refrigerator.
Step 3: assemble the cake
Assemble the mille-feuilles by placing the base of the biscuit out of the oven on the plate. On top, add the cream, then whole strawberries, and finally top it off with a hat with another cookie. Enjoy!
