While some luxury homes are returning to a classic format for their parades, Versace has decided to test the mixed format in 2020, reports Women's Wear Daily. An experience that will take shape next February at the fall-winter 2020 fashion shows.
The Italian house Versace is about to experiment with mixed parades, already adopted by many brands including Dsquared2 and Bottega Veneta, as of February 2020. The men's and women's collections will be the subject ofa single show, orchestrated in February and September in Milan.
Specifically, the luxury house will not offer four annual parades (two for men in January and June and two for women in February and September) but only two. A format that will be lived as a experience for the brand and will to evolve the following years.
This announcement comes as Gucci said last October that she will return to Milan next January to present her men's collection. The house, which had adopted the mixed format, chose to come back to classical parades with two separate shows for men and women.
