Versace embarks on high perfumery – LU

(Relaxnews) – Versace has unveiled the six fragrances that make up its new line of high-end perfumes. This collection marks a new stage in perfumery for the Italian brand whose licenses are operated by the Italian group EuroItalia.

The Italian house already has an impressive catalog of fragrances for both men and women, including with its line Eros. However, it decided to move upmarket with the launch of Atelier Versace perfumes, a collection of six scents that reflects the haute couture approach of the Italian house.

Each fragrance ("Jasmine in the Sun", "Rose Shard", "Woody Sandalwood", "Diamond Citron", "White Fig", and "Red Vanilla") focuses on a central ingredient whether fruity, woody or This collection is sold in bottles with a base and a golden cap and sells for 345 euros per perfume.

Versace is not the only luxury house to make its foray into the world of haute parfumerie. Last August, the French brand Celine announced the launch of its high-end collection of eleven unisex fragrances under the direction of Hedi Slimane, a first for the luxury home. Last October, the American Thom Browne also unveiled his first line of six unisex fragrances.
