You can now use your phone to watch your favorite shows and chat with the community on Twitch.

Twitch has just announced the expansion of its Movie Showtimes feature on iOS and Android mobile devices. The Sessions Ciné, or Watch Parties in English, allow Amazon Prime Video subscribers to watch and share their favorite series and films directly from the Twitch application on their computer or via web browsers. It also allows you to share your thoughts and participate in chat debates about the series or film you are watching.

This mobile expansion is a big plus for all users who only access Twitch from their smartphones or who use the platform a lot on the go. This is also a good alternative for anyone who would like to monetize their Prime Video subscription while enjoying the social aspect of Twitch.

However, it seems that a large number of users are having concerns related to restrictions by country or region of the world. In fact, you will only be able to view content that is also available in the catalog for your country. So that blocks a lot of the content for a lot of users, which is quite annoying. For the moment, neither Twitch nor Amazon has responded to complaints from internet users.

Note also that only Prime subscribers can broadcast and watch the content available in Sessions Ciné. Twitch has certain restrictions in place that ensure that people who are not subscribers cannot view content for free.

For anyone who wants to stream their Movie Sessions, Twitch has set up a help page that walks you through the steps to start streaming. On this same page, you will find instructions on how you can search for and watch Séance Ciné content with your subscription.
