The British team of The Market will offer for auction from February 18, a 2005 Maserati Quattroporte that belonged to Sir Elton John.

The Market has become accustomed to auctioning off star models, and 2021 has started off well with the sale of a BMW 635CSi once owned by Sir Sean Connery, as well as a Range Rover Sport once driven by the former England football captain David Beckham. This time it is a Maserati Quattroporte added to Sir Elton John’s collection in 2005, which is offered to the highest bidder.

This chassis powered by a 4.2-liter V8 unit developing 400 hp, is dressed in a metallic “Deep Emerald Green” livery and is fitted with a “biscuit” colored leather on the interior side, as well as veneers in a “Rosewood” finish. Many options have been installed by Maserati to make the trips of “The Rocketman” and his friends more enjoyable, such as a DVD player and a rear screen, a games input, two headphones, a remote control and a six-CD automatic changer. .

This Maserati Quattroporte will be sold with some “goodies” including the official welcome letter from Maserati addressed to “Mr. John”, as well as a copy of the original V5 certificate bearing Sir Elton’s name and current license plates.

The selling price of this vehicle, which has covered only 28,493 miles to date (of which 1,000 miles have been driven since 2016 by the current vehicle owner), is expected to be between £ 15,000 and £ 40,000 (between 17 000 and 45 600 €).
