(CercleFinance.com) – Toyota today announced that orders for its first electric van, the Proace Electric, have been open for a few weeks.
Available with two lithium-ion batteries of different capacities (50kWh or 75kWh), the vehicle has a range of up to 330 km (in combined WLTP cycle), assures the manufacturer.
Located under the floor of the charging compartment, the battery can be connected to a fast charging station, connected to a Wallbox or even to a domestic socket.
By using a 100 kWh public charging station, the 50 kWh battery can be charged to 80% in about 30 minutes, and in 45 minutes for the 75 kWh battery.
Toyota specifies that the Proace Verso Electric (passenger transport) has been available for sale since the start of 2021.
