A new model seems to be preparing on the Toyota side. Indeed, according to several American media, the Japanese manufacturer would have filed at the beginning of December the name "4Active" in the United States.
This designation, which suggests a four-wheel drive vehicle, could be used for an upcoming crossover that would be placed under the 4Runner in the American range of the manufacturer.
An SUV developed with Mazda?
This name could for example be given to the future SUV, inspired by the FT-4X concept (photo), which Toyota will develop and produce with Mazda in the Huntsville, Alabama plant.
Will this 4Active be launched? Will he be entitled to a European version? For the time being, Toyota has not wanted to comment on the rumor. Answers probably in the coming months …
