Does a BMW pickup really exist? As you can imagine, there is a catch.
Unlike Volkswagen or Mercedes, BMW has never marketed a pickup. Certainly, the propeller brand is at the forefront of SUVs. With its X5 in 1999, the manufacturer was even the first to launch a luxury model equipped with a self-supporting hull on the market.
And even if large pickups still sell very well in the United States, there is no question of developing such a model at BMW for the moment. So, how to explain this image showing a green pickup decked out with the famous double bean topped by a propeller?
A Dodge Dakota
The specialists will obviously have recognized a Dodge Dakota, whose owner had fun sticking a very special grille to it. Note also the small circles added in the front optics, as well as the propeller also present on the front license plate.
