The Mi 11 Lite is one of the many smartphones announced by Xiaomi during the month of March 2021. It is a smartphone that is more affordable than the others, but no less interesting. It comes in two versions: 4G at 329 euros and 5G at 399 euros. Find all the offers below.
The Mi 11 Lite is by definition a lighter version of Xiaomi’s current high-end smartphone. You will understand, concessions at the level of the technical sheet were therefore made to drastically reduce the invoice. Here, no 108 megapixel sensor or an overpowering Snapdragon 888, but characteristics all the same tempting for the price.
Where to buy the Mi 11 Lite?
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite in 4G version is available from 329 euros for the version with 64 GB of storage, but it is only available on the official store. Count 20 euros more for the 128 GB model.
Regarding the 5G compatible Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, it is only available in 8 + 128 GB version at 399 euros.
Everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G share a lot in common. We find the same design inspired by the top-of-the-range model, but the screen with the curved edges of the classic Mi 11 is here replaced by a flat screen, thus leaving more of the borders around it. AMOLED technology is still there to take advantage of the infinite contrasts and the refresh rate does not go up to 120 Hz, but 90 Hz. There are however subtle differences, since the 4G version weighs 157 grams with Gorilla Glass 5 glass and 2 grams more for the 5G version, but with Gorilla Glass 6.
To continue on the similarities, both variants have a 4,250 mAh battery which should be enough to last a whole day, as well as a fast charging system up to 33 W. This is obviously not as efficient as the 55 W of the Xiaomi Mi 11, but this already ensures that you can recover around 50% in about thirty minutes. Unsurprisingly, wireless charging is not present, in both cases.
The rear camera module offers a triplet, with a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 5-megapixel macro. Yes, we told you that there was not the enormous 108 megapixel sensor of the Mi 11. It still promises a great versatility, even if we will have to wait for the smartphone to arrive in our hands to really judge of its photographic qualities.
The first differences between the 4G and 5G versions of the Mi 11 Lite are also made in the photo, and more precisely the camera dedicated to selfies, respectively 16 and 20 megapixels. But the most important of all is the processor integrated into the smartphone. We then find the Snapdragon 732G on the 4G model and the newly unveiled Snapdragon 780G on the 5G model. And the power of the latter brings great promises in this price segment.
Note: the Mi 11 Lite 4G offers a 3.5mm jack port, but the Mi 11 Lite 5G does not.
