Nokia is one of the companies planning to expand their offering of 5G devices. The Nokia 8.3 5G is a solid upper midrange smartphone, but it looks like it could have a much more exciting successor this year – one with five cameras on the back. In other words, the device would once again be blessed with impressive photographic capabilities.
This is reported by NokiaPowerUser, which claims to have heard that Nokia 8.3 5G successor will feature a five-lens camera, led by a 108 megapixel primary sensor. The other lenses could apparently fill the roles of ultra-wide, telephoto, depth-sensing, and macro, and the smartphone will apparently have Zeiss optics and OZO Audio, just like the Nokia 8.3 5G.
It is highly likely that Zeiss optics are in charge of improving the performance of the camera as well.
Due to the company’s new naming system, the site’s source expects cThe smartphone is called the Nokia X50 rather than the Nokia 8.4 5G, although the source does not seem to say that the name X50 is confirmed.
The source also claims that the Nokia X50 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 775 chipset. This chipset has not yet been announced, but if we refer to the fact that it is a 7 series chip, we expect it to be mid-range. The screen, meanwhile, would be 6.5 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate with Quad HD + resolution. This would allow the new Nokia smartphone to align with other mid-range Android devices.
A launch in the 3rd quarter
In addition, the new Nokia smartphone is supposed to make it easy for you to get through the day with just one charge, so the battery capacity could be increased to no less than 6000mAh. Without a doubt, this is a welcome increase, especially since its predecessor was equipped with a 4,500mAh unit. Finally, Nokia X50 is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year, or between July and September.
All in all, this is a mouthwatering device, which would likely rank in the high-end market despite its chipset. And if it turns out that it is equipped with a penta-lens camera, that will certainly be the highlight of the smartphone.
Of course, it’s important to take this leak for now.
