According to Karl Moore, Professor at McGill University, who has studied the figure of the ambivert for several years, 40% of top business leaders are extroverts, 40% are introverts, and 20% are true ambivert. In addition, he believes that the unprecedented circumstances that have occurred in the pandemic have forced leaders of all kinds to act ambivalently. For instance, bosses needed to listen and get feedback to provide flexible and empathetic work environments for staff, but they also needed to convey clear and demonstrative enthusiasm to come together and guide the team into the unknown.
