According to the Smart Hardware Quality Report 2020 ranking published by the operator China Mobile, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G obtained 5 stars in many categories, such as the quality of the 5G connection, as well as in-game and photo performance. These multiple strengths have led the operator to consider the Mate 40 Pro 5G as the best 5G smartphone of 2020.

The operator China Mobile, which is none other than the largest mobile telephone operator in the world with 943 million subscribers, has just published his ranking Smart Hardware Quality Report 2020. In this report, the company assesses the quality of 5G smartphones released in 2020.

To do this, China Mobile establishes a hierarchy according to four criteria: technological developments, the general quality of the smartphone, performance, and the services and features offered to improve the user experience. In fact, the company does not focus only on the power of the processor, but also on the performance of the Wi-Fi connection, 5G, the photo set, in game, or even in virtual reality.

The 5 stars in many categories for the Mate 40 Pro 5G

The report shows that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has achieved six awards, and the Kirin 9000 processor walked away with the prize for the best 5G chip. In the general ranking of the best 5G smartphones, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro therefore takes first place in the category of smartphones sold over 4,000 yuan (or more than € 500 after conversion). The Xiaomi Extreme 10 Edition and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 come second and third.

Regarding the photo category, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also comes out with honors with five stars on the counter, in particular thanks to these results in night scene, in zoom, in optical stability, and in motion capture. Finally, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also obtained the palm of best gaming smartphone. In this category, the devices were evaluated on five criteria: fluidity, energy consumption, heat generation, response time, and graphic effects. Huawei’s latest flagship bagged the 5 stars, on the nose and the barge of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Edition and the Asus ROG Phone 3.

As a reminder, this is not the first time that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has distinguished itself in the rankings. He was voted the new king of photography in October 2020 by DxOMark. DxoMark notably appreciated the wide dynamic range even in low light, the fast autofocus, many details including with the zoom, a precise white balance, a pleasant color rendering on the videos, the good compromise between the textures and the digital noise and Bokeh effect performance.
