The ten students of the 2019/2020 class followed this training as part of a professionalization contract with Volvo dealerships across France.
After fourteen months of training and passing an end-of-course exam, the first graduates of CQP Automotive after-sales expert technician (TEAVA) dedicated to the Swedish premium brand will be able to join the Volvo Cars France network. The training provided by Garac and the practical internships carried out within the Volvo Car France training center enabled students to validate half of the Voltech course, the highest level of technical qualification at Volvo Cars, which makes it possible to carry out diagnostics and maintenance of the brand's electrified vehicles. "These qualified technicians are the future of the brand, because these new profiles will allow us to reach the level of technicality required by our new 100% electric models and at the cutting edge of technology and connectivity", highlighted Yves Pasquier-Desvignes, president of Volvo Car France, at the event.
For this new school year, seven new apprentices have entered the Volvo Cars class. Volvo dealerships in the Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Normandy, Île-de-France, New Aquitaine and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions will support them in their workforce to increase their skills. The apprentices benefit from a total brand experience as the classrooms are equipped with vehicles and tools from Volvo Car France for practical exercises.
