Sept. 10 (Reuters) – The CEO of Fiat Chrysler (FCA) said on Thursday that the proposed merger with PSA was on track.
"Things are going very well" regarding the progress of the proposed merger with PSA, "said Mike Manley, adding that the two groups were perfectly aligned.
Fiat Chrysler continues to make progress in finalizing the merger by the first quarter of 2021, he said.
PSA and FCA announced last year a binding agreement for their merger, a 50 billion euro transaction that will create the world's fourth largest automaker by early 2021. (Milan office, French version Claude Chendjou and Bertrand Boucey, edited by)
