Startech has fun with the Tesla Model 3 – Autonews

Zapping Autonews Green What is a hydrogen car?

For those who consider their Tesla Model 3 a little too wise, Startech has the solution by offering a set of accessories, both aesthetic and technical, dedicated to making the 100% electric American sedan more sporty. Thanks to an unprecedented open front bumper, the Model 3 becomes more aggressive with large dummy air intakes and small rectangular additional lights. Aerodynamic fins also appear in front of the rear wheel arches. The body kit also includes a very low profile spoiler that originates on the rear fenders behind the doors. The overall styling of the car is enriched by a slightly recessed diffuser and air extractors on the sides of the rear bumper. All these painted elements hide excellent materials, including carbon fiber that appears occasionally on certain accessories.

Aesthetic preparation as described above would not be complete without specific alloy wheels that look much sportier than those originally installed. Startech has thought of everything, with a set of 20 inch wheels whose polished black finish gives an attractive sporty look. The rims are available in two different widths, which can be fitted with 245mm wide or 285mm wide tires. Sleek aluminum hub caps in silver, blue, red or black finish give the wheels the finishing touch. The tuner also offers shortened springs that lower the car by 30mm for even sleeker styling. Carbon fiber also has its place in the cabin, thanks to Startech, which offers inserts for the steering wheel and door trim. The Alcantara covers the entire pavilion on request, including the sun visors and the uprights (A pillars). Finally, the driver can benefit from a duo of specific aluminum pedals.

The complete body kit is available for 3,144 € on the German market, but each part can also be purchased separately. Lowering the Model 3 by 30mm costs just € 346, while the rims are priced at € 684 (with 245/35 R20 tires) and € 731 (with 285/45 R20 tires) respectively per unit.
