Since 1er April 2020, brands Spies hecker and Standox are approved for use by the Mercedes-Benz network in 11 European countries, notably in France, until March 31, 2023. Note that this agreement is in addition to the already existing premium manufacturer's approvals in more than 60 countries across the world.

Bart De Groof, refinish commercial director for Axalta in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, says: " Car manufacturers need paint brands they can trust to provide them with high quality finishes. This is why our brands Spies Hecker and Standox have been approved by Mercedes-Benz for more than twenty years. We are very proud to continue this alliance with this manufacturer in 2020 and beyond. "

Note that by offering a very good match of colors and personalized solutions for superior and durable finishes, the water-soluble matt bases Hi-TEC at Spies Hecker and Standoblue at Standox are particularly well suited to the Mercedes-Benz network. Under the terms of the agreement, the two paint brands will not only supply the products to the manufacturer’s body shops, but also technical training, color management assistance, support and advice in all of these areas.

This newly signed agreement covers France, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland for Spies Hecker. For Standox, it includes Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania and Switzerland.
