This weekend is the traditional Pikes Peak hill climb in Colorado (United States). 19.9 kilometers, 156 turns and a single attempt: these are the drastic conditions imposed on the participants. The event is open toand an prepared by Unplugged Performance and piloted by Randy Pobst should participate.
We use the conditional because thesuffered a big during free practice this week. The pilot is unharmed but the was seriously damaged, as can be seen in these images.
The accident happened when the car got unbalanced while going over a bump in a bend. Thespinning, severely damaging the chassis, rims, rear shock absorbers, front axle … In short, major repairs are necessary so that the Unplugged Performance team can line up at the start of the race this weekend.
