In a few weeks, many Smart TV owners from the South Korean manufacturer will have to make a cross on the streaming platform. They will no longer be able to enjoy the Netflix app on their TV.
Samsung has announced on its official website that it will no longer support Netflix on TV models too old, from December 1. Customers affected by this decision are encouraged to look to other solutions to continue viewing their Netflix series.
"Due to technical limitations, Netflix will no longer be supported on some devices. Some of Samsung's oldest smart TVs are affected by this change. In the future, Netflix can be viewed from many other devices that can be connected to your TV, "says Samsung on its website.
What are the alternatives?
The South Korean manufacturer unfortunately does not list the models affected by this decision. It will therefore be necessary to check manually whether your TV is concerned or not by the news. It seems that the Netflix app installed on Smart TVs affected by this ad displays a message explaining the situation.
If so, there are solutions. Before you buy a new TV, you can still use an HDMI multimedia key (Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, etc.), a recent game console, TV box or a decoder.
