The former basketball star has a message for Elon Musk. He can't fit into a Tesla Model S as easily as he wants.
Spacious but not enough! The Tesla Model S has a rather generous interior, but not for everyone. Especially when we call each other Shaquille O'Neal. In a video posted to Twitter, the quadruple NBA champion can be seen struggling to squeeze in a Tesla Model S.
Considering it's 2.16 meters tall, we doubt this was the first car Shaquille struggled to get into. In the video in question, O'Neal tries to get inside the Tesla with the seat as far back as possible and on the passenger side. But even like that, it's difficult!

Eventually, Shaq sneaks aboard, but it really doesn't look comfortable. At the end of the video, Shaquille sends a message to Elon Musk: "Elon, do you want to make a big boy Tesla?" ". Even 1.05 meters of legroom is not enough for the former NBA player.
But what does Shaquille fit into?
Surprisingly, Shaquille once owned a Tesla Model S. So we can't imagine how difficult it would have been for him to drive when he was really cramped as a passenger.
Luckily for Shaquille, Tesla is building a much larger vehicle than the Model S that should meet his demands: the Cybertruck. There should be plenty of room inside the cabin for the basketball star.
Otherwise, O'Neal already tested the Rivian R1T at an event in March last year. Despite being smaller than the Tesla Cybertruck, the Rivian R1T has a surprisingly spacious cabin. To prove it, Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe shared a photo on Twitter with the basketball star sitting behind the wheel of an R1T pickup with a “Shaq gets into R1T” message.
