Saint-Jacques poppy crust – TF1

This is the beginning of the season scallops so we do not deprive ourselves with this simple recipe and that will not distort the good taste of hazelnut of St Jacques.

List of ingredients for 6 people

Preparation: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Poppy crust

  • 30 g of soft butter

  • 1 tablespoon poppy

  • 1 tablespoon bread crumbs

  • 1 teaspoon chopped lemon confit

  • 3 cloves of black garlic

  • Salt pepper

Preparation steps

  1. Preheat your oven in grill position. Clean and dry your scallops. Snap one side to the pan 30 seconds. Dispose on a baking sheet with the golden side up.

  2. Reduce the black garlic mashed to the mortar. In a salad bowl, mix all the ingredients of the crust.

  3. With a small spatula, mask the colored side of the nuts with the poppy crust. Bake for 3 to 4 minutes.

  4. Arrange scallops with cocktail peaks and serve as an appetizer or as an aperitif.
