In recent years, all the Rolls-Royce models in the range have been offered the Spirit of Ecstasy, made of crystal, and backlit as an option. Billed at almost € 4,800, this little fantasy has met with some success with customers of the venerable British house.
But now, a new EU regulation considers bonnet lighting a prohibited light pollution. Suddenly, Rolls-Royce must neutralize this device on all cars circulating in Europe. It seems that the brand is imagining alternatives to compensate for the "annoyance" suffered, such as a silver-plated emblem or other options.
