(CercleFinance.com) – Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement to sell Bergen Engines – a Norwegian engine manufacturer owned by Rolls Royce Power Systems – to TMH International for net proceeds of around ME 150, the British engine manufacturer.
According to Warren East, Rolls-Royce chief executive, in addition to simplifying the group, the sale of Bergen Engines will contribute to the goal of making £ 2 billion from divestments.
The transaction has been approved by the Boards of Directors of Rolls-Royce and TMH and is expected to close in the second half of 2021.
Founded in 2002 and based in Russia, the engineering company THM employs 100,000 people around the world.
