(CercleFinance.com) – Rolls-Royce announces the signing of a contract with Dhamra LNG Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (DLTPL) – a joint venture between Adani Group and Total – for the complete delivery (engineering, supply and construction) of a 29 MW gas-fired power plant, linked to an Indian LNG terminal.
The high-efficiency plant will offer high reliability and availability of over 98%, Rolls-Royce announces.
When commissioned at the end of 2021, the DLTPL LNG terminal plant on the east coast of India will be the second in the country to be powered by Rolls-Royce Bergen engines.
In 2018, Rolls-Royce had indeed supplied and commissioned a 28 MW power station in Ennore, in the state of Tamil Nadu.
