Coming to school in a Rolls-Royce with your best friends. A dream that will come true for the four children who won the Young Designer Competition organized by the English manufacturer during confinement. In addition to a ride in Rolls, the winners also saw their designs transformed into a 3D concept by the firm's design teams, as if it were a "classic" vehicle.
To participate, only one condition: be under 16 years old. For the rest, no rules and a "brief" summarized in a single sentence: " design the futuristic Rolls-Royce of your dreams ". Launched last April, the contest is a great success and the manufacturer receives 5,000 drawings from children from 80 countries!
Sketches divided into four categories, Technology, Environment, Fantasy and Fun. One winner per category and three designs that did not win the timpani but caught the judges' attention so much that they were ultimately selected for conversion to a 3D version.

" I will not be surprised that some participants become automotive designers, says Torsten Müller-Ötvös, maybe at Rolls-Royce! "A good idea, if it allows us to see a flying Rolls covered with scales …
