Pirelli and McLaren had a difficult first day at Paul Ricard – Nextgen-Auto.com

As we reported yesterday, Pirelli continues to develop its 18-inch tires at Paul Ricard with a Formula, this time with McLaren, after driving with Renault F1 in September.

Unfortunately for the Italian manufacturer and Carlos Sainz, who was driving yesterday the MCL34, bad weather conditions (cold and rain) limited the rolling.

Indeed, only 39 laps could be traveled before having to stop the day.

Trials resume today and the sun is expected a good part of the day in this part of France. Lando Norris will certainly be asked to make up a good part of the delay taken involuntarily by his teammate.
