The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC became the fastest car homologated for the road at Spa Francorchamps.
It is now becoming a habit, before delivering the first copies of their cars, the manufacturers make it a point of honor to achieve some nice lap times on some of the most famous circuits in the world.
While many of them swear by the famous Nürburgring North Loop, others are tackling circuits like Suzuka or Spa Francorchamps, as is the case for Pagani. After more than 350,000 km traveled around the world, including more than 45,000 on circuit, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC finally seems ready.
The fastest hypercar!
Indeed, it was during the last tests carried out on the Belgian circuit and with the agreement of Horacio Pagani that the Italian hypercar let speak its V12 of more than 800 horsepower. With the house pilot, Andrea Palma, at the wheel, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC thus completed the lap in 2 min 23.081 seconds. It now holds the record for the fastest lap for a road-approved car.
The Pagani Huyra Roaster BC therefore managed to do better than the McLaren Senna (2 min 24.82), the Koenigsegg One: 1 (2 min 32.14) or the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (2 min 33.90). Finally, for the record, it is still important to point out that this year, driving the Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance, Lewis Hamilton completed the 7 km of the circuit in 1 min 41.252 seconds.
