Pagani Huayra R: new supercar with devilish atmospheric V12 – ItalPassion

Pagani is an Italian super-sports builder born in 1992 about whom we speak little on ItalPassion but there is a beginning to everything!

With two models in the catalog, the Zonda, then the Huayra, both available in several versions, it is the latter, the Huayra, which will be presented in a new R version in 1 month.

Currently, the Pagani Huayra is a 1350 kg supercar with a 6.0L twin-turbo V12 (origin AMG Mercedes) which is developing a 730 hp power and a power of 1000 Nm.

Thus, Horacio Pagani, founder of the Pagani brand, announced the future Pagani Huayra R and, contrary to what one might think, there would no longer be a twin-turbo V12 engine on board but a Atmospheric V12 of more than 900 hp developed in collaboration with AMG Mercedes especially for this model. The goal being to have a devilish sound.

It remains to be seen whether, like the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 (which coincidentally weighs 1,377 kg and also offers an atmospheric 830 hp V12) it will be exclusively from a track car, or if it will have road homologation.

See you on November 12! To be patient, this video of the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC beating a new time record on the Spa Francorchamps circuit.
