Take the CARTOVILLE NEW YORK book from Gallimard, it is very practical for visiting the whole city in a useful way.

When arriving at JF KENNEDY airport, the cheapest way to get to Manhattan is by subway. To go faster, you have to get on the AIRTRAIN (5 Dollars sky train) to Howard Beach and go with the A subway to Fulton Street (about 1h15 Metrocard 7.5 $ for a day). Otherwise, you can get in a yellow cab ($ 50 – about 45 min depending on where you are going).

Never forget, you must include tips for a drink in a bar ($ 1), restaurant (multiply by 2 the VAT), the same for taxis or for the staff who help you.
