Ferrari has indicated its intention to appeal the stewards' decision on the new reprimand for the Racing Point rear brake scoops used in the Belgian Grand Prix.
Indeed, Racing Point will receive a reprimand for this until the season ends or an appeal is made to the FIA International Court.
And Ferrari’s decision to appeal the reprimand proves that Ferrari, unlike Renault F1, is keen to continue appealing the original decision announced at Silverstone several weeks ago.
As we revealed this morning, Racing Point also intended to maintain its appeal, considering that it had been punished too severely when the rules were not clear (400,000 euros fine, 15 points less).
The FIA has yet to release a date for the call, which could take place in September, but more likely in October.
