Tuesday, September 22 Nokia announced two new phones: the Nokia 3.4 and the Nokia 2.4. They are both in the entry level category. Indeed both are placed under the price bar of 200 €. We mentioned them in a previous article on the latest Nokia releases, the Nokia 2.4 and 3.4 are now available.
Let's start in order, the big brother of this new series. The Nokia 3.4 has a more muscular configuration than the 2.4. The Nokia 3.4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460. At the same time, it is supported by 3 or 4GB of RAM. For photography, it has a photo module with a triple camera and a front camera. The main camera is 13MP, the wide-angle is 5MP. Coupled by a 2MP camera for depth of field. The 6.39-inch HD + display is punched into the upper left to let the front camera pass. The edges of the phone therefore appear to be very thin. As for the battery, the manufacturer announces an autonomy of 2 days with a capacity of 4000mAh. For charging, we will not be allowed a USB-C port. At the same time, it will embed the NFC.
And a mandatory jack for this price. For storage it will be possible to expand the memory through a microSD port.
Three versions of this model will be available 3GB / 32GB, 3GB / 64GB and 4GB / 64GB. The first model will start at € 179. Three colors will be available "Fjord", "Dusk", "Charcoal".
The Nokia, 2.4 a really cheap smartphone
The little brother will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio P22 and equipped with 2 and 3GB of RAM. The photo module will this time be equipped with two cameras, the main one of 13MP and one of depth of 2MP. The screen will not be punched. The front camera is indeed teardrop. The screen is 6.5 inches HD +. Regarding the battery, it happens to be more substantial with 4500mAh, but it will be necessary to be satisfied with a micro USB port to recharge it.
The jack will also obviously be present, however we lose the NFC. With, always, the possibility of expanding the storage with the microSD port.
This model will only have 2 2 / 32GB and 3 / 64GB versions starting at € 139.90. In the same colors as the other model.
Nokia still with Android One
On the system side, the two smartphones will run on Android One, the original Google overlay and therefore the least loaded and easier to support. They will both be up to date with Android 10 and will stay up to date for 3 years for monthly security updates and 2 years for the operating system, guaranteed by Nokia.
