Wednesday, November 6, following an investigation conducted by the anti-trafficking unit (CLCT), counterfeits and equipment were seized in Lunel and Marsillargues.
470 counterfeit coins, flocked with the effigy of several marks (Fila, Levis, Puma, Nike, BMW Sport, Armengo, Hugo Boss, The North FaceTM, etc.) were seized Wednesday, November 6, following an investigation conducted by the anti-trafficking unit (CLCT) ) located at the gendarmerie brigade of Lunel.
The goods were sold on markets and fairs
The searches took place in Lunel and Marsillarguesas part of an investigation that began with intelligence received by the military. They also seized material used for making counterfeits (cutter, press and laptop, rolls for transfers) representing nearly € 3,000, as well as € 150 in cash.
Two people in custody
The sale value of the goods seized amounts to € 17,000 (for approximately € 4,500 on the purchase). The goods were sold on markets and fairs. Two people were taken into custody and will be summoned to court in January 2020.
