World Endurance Champion with Aston Martin Racing, Nicki Thiim will be well at the start of his eighth consecutive 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, the Dane will not progress in the GTE-Pro class.
Nicki Thiim joins Marcos Gomes and Paul Dalla Lana in the seat of the # 98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE to replace Augusto Farfus. Thiim is back in GTE-Am for the first time since 2014.
Four Aston Martin Vantage GTE will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GTE-Am class:
Aston Martin Racing: Dalla Lana – Gomes – Thiim
TF Sport: Hartshorne – Hancock – Gunn
TF Sport: Keating – Fraga – Pereira
D’station Racing: Fujii – Hoshino – Watson
Aston Martin remains on a double success at Le Mans last September with Aston Martin Racing in GTE-Pro (Martin / Tincknell / Lynn) and TF Sport in GTE-Am (Yoluc / Adam / Eastwood).
