Toyota unveiled the first official teaser of the future GR Yaris, this high-performance version of the new city car that will be badged Gazoo Racing.
Toyota Europe shared the image of its camouflaged prototype on its social networks, announcing the date and place of its official debut: the November 17th at Rally Australia. The Yaris survitaminée will be presented in the form of a prototype pre-production, wearing the same red, black and white camouflage that she used during the test phases on the Nurburgring. The image of the teaser was also accompanied by the nickname "GR-4": would this bombinette be equipped with an AWD? Unlikely.
Compared to the standard Toyota Yaris, this hormone-filled version will adopt a more aggressive bodywork, with wing wideners, specific bumpers, a larger grille and rims larger than the original version.
The Gazoo Racing version of the Yaris could use a more powerful engine as the new versatile city car and its small 4-cylinder 1.5 liter.
The previous one Yaris GRMN with limited production was powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged and developed 209 horses. All you need to do is wait until November 17th to see what Gazoo Racing has reserved for us.
