Yes, Cadillac is really going to offer an extreme version of its gigantic SUV, the Escalade.
The Cadillac Escalade is not really sized for the European market. Even if the previous generations were sold on the dropper at home for a while, this huge SUV is larger than vehicles like the Range Rover or the Audi Q7. It is intended anyway for an American clientele experienced in this kind of pachyderm high on legs.
Its chassis is taken from Chevrolet Tahoe and other GMC Yukon, two other monsters of American roads. In the extended version, these machines can also accommodate up to nine passengers on board. Yes, it's two more than the biggest European SUVs.
Over 600 horsepower
And according to the latest rumors, Cadillac is preparing a "V" version of its new Escalade. The machine would develop more than 600 horsepower thanks to a compressed V8 very close to that of the old Corvette and the Cadillac CTS-V. X-Tomi is already imagining this monster virtually which will obviously not be sold on our premises.
