Even more attractive and more original, the Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) sets new benchmarks with the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition. Based on the M Sport X model, the M Mesh Edition version uses design elements and exclusive features to appeal to a young and daring clientele. Commercial launch: November 2020. The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition will be offered in France on the basis of the M Sport X finish.

Distinct appearance thanks to the three-dimensional, racing-inspired 'BMW M Mesh' grille in gloss black, as well as the new signature Frozen Black-Brown metallic color for the specific exterior design elements of the M Sport X trim: central part of the front bumper, wheel arches and lower part of the rear bumper.

Original stickers on the hood, on the sides of the front bumpers and on the front and rear doors are standard. Bright orange in color, they perfectly complement the new metallic Brooklyn Gray color exclusive to the M Mesh edition, or the exterior metallic Saphirschwarz color (available as an option). Alpinweiss, Phytonicblau metallic or Sunset Orange metallic are also available. With these, the stickers are in black. They can be deleted, if necessary.

New M aerodynamic rims in 19 and 20 inches with inserts in the colors of the stickers.

The M Mesh Edition adopts the new design of the front end of the BMW X2, which includes smooth surfaces and LED headlamps with integrated fog lights. Adaptive LED headlamps and BMW Individual Shadow-Line headlamps are optional. A new feature is the projection of an X2 logo from the exterior mirror on the driver's side, included in the standard lighting kit.

BMW Individual Shadow Line brilliant as standard with Edition (includes grille surround, tailgate logo surround. Exhaust trims are black chrome.

Two-tone interior as standard, M Sport seats with integrated headrests and coverings in Dakota Moka and Alcantara Anthrazit leather. Contrasting stitching in orange on the seats, dashboard and center console. Floor mat with orange border and stitching, door sills with “Edition” lettering.

Hexagon Anthrazit aluminum trim, BMW Individual Anthrazit headliner, M stainless steel pedals, M driver footrest, M leather steering wheel and M key as standard. Cars with a manual gearbox also feature a gear lever with the M logo.

Standard equipment: Dual-zone automatic air conditioning, Business multimedia navigation, Comfort Pack (including comfort access and electric, heated front seats with adjustable lumbar support) and SimpliCity Pack (including in particular the reversing camera and Park Assist) .

Available with three diesel engines from 116 to 190 hp, two petrol engines from 140 and 192 hp and the all-new plug-in hybrid version: BMW X2 xDrive25e (220 hp). Depending on the version, customers can opt for front-wheel drive or BMW xDrive all-wheel drive, manual or automatic gearbox.

Three ways to control vehicle and navigation functions: using the iDrive controller, with the touchscreen functionality of the central control screen, or via the voice control system capable of understanding naturally spoken sentences. Hands-free function with Bluetooth interface and digital DAB radio reception are available as standard.

Professional multimedia navigation with 10.25-inch control screen and optional BMW head-up display.
