A life-size replica of the latest Lamborghini
Of Thursday, October 15 at Saturday, November 7, 2020, the shopping center Leclerc of Blagnac welcomes a special guest. Right in the middle of the shopping arcade, sits a copy of the latest model of the famous Italian car brand: the Lamborghini Sián FKP37. To date, there are only 63 copies worldwide.
A body of 280,000 Lego bricks
The Blagnac copy is not counted among these rare cars since it is entirely made of lego bricks. This huge, life-size toy is the result of titanic work. It took more than 1,000 hours, that is to say nearly 6 weeks, to the little thirty people to assemble the 280,000 pieces from the Danish toy brand.
The shopping center wants to repeat the exhibition in 2021
Reading these pharaonic figures, it's hard not to think that the success of the exhibition in Blagnac is deserved. Indeed, the Lego car " is all the rage in the store as well as on social networks“, We slip on the side of the supermarket, delighted.
This is the first time that such a partnership with Lego has been established, but certainly not the last. "This exhibition is not over yet but we are already very keen to repeat the experience. It makes more sense for us that there is a large Lego section in the store, and a Lego store in the shopping arcade, ”explains a spokesperson for the mall. Negotiations between Lego and Blagnac are ongoing, but it is likely that in 2021, another sports car is making a pit stop there.
