Acura MDX

Acura is about to enter a new chapter with its MDX midsize crossover. This very important model for the Honda luxury brand will soon enter its fourth generation with a design strongly inspired by the new TLX. A foretaste of this design will be officially presented on October 14 by the manufacturer. It wouldn't be surprising to see the TLX sedan's mechanics put to good use under its hood, namely a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder or a 3.0L twin-turbo V6.

A little revealing taste of the Subaru BRZ Coupe

Arguably one of the most entertaining cars you can get under $ 30,000, the Subaru BRZ has suffered from a lack of development since its launch in 2013. We now hope to correct things with an all-rounder. new generation to be unveiled this fall, information that was recently confirmed on Twitter by the American branch of Subaru. Only a little revealing photo of a rim will allow us to wait until then. If we are to trust the rumors spread by several specialized media, this BRZ will be entitled to a substantial power boost from the 2.4L 260 hp four-cylinder turbo now used in several of the brand's vehicles. Its cousin, the Toyota 86, should logically also be unveiled soon.

The Volkswagen Taos will be unveiled on October 13.

New subcompact crossover that will pit the Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-3 and Nissan Qashqai, the Volkswagen Taos will try to make a name for itself in a hot segment. Its unveiling is scheduled for October 13, but we already know that it will be entitled to a new engine, a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder (coded EA211) developing 158 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. To ensure lower fuel consumption, it will be able to operate in the Miller cycle. Shorter by 28 cm compared to the Tiguan, the Taos will be offered as standard with the front-wheel drive coupled to an eight-speed transmission. The gearbox of the all-wheel-drive version will be dual-clutch, seven-speed.
