Mercedes-Benz S-Class: Intelligent Business Machine –

Queen of limousines, sedan of all superlatives, technological laboratory, spaceship on wheels… there is no shortage of expressions to qualify the seventh and ultimate generation of the Mercedes S-Class. Unveiled last week, the new flagship of the star manufacturer caused a sensation on the automotive planet. Sober and slender, its silhouette does not leave a mark and helps it to excel aerodynamically with a Cx of 0.22! Stretching over a length of 5.18m (5.29m in the long wheelbase version), the new S improves internally on every level. The furniture has been completely redesigned with great taste, luxurious materials and cutting-edge technological content. The center console has disappeared in favor of a gigantic touchscreen, installed vertically Tesla style. This 12.8 "OLED technology display is one of the many displays that are featured on the vehicle.

Along with 11.6 "entertainment screens and a 7" tablet for rear settings, there is also 3D holographic digital instrumentation, and even an augmented reality heads-up display! Audio installation by Burmester with 31 speakers (which transmit bass vibrations through the seats), four air-conditioned and massage armchairs, gesture-controlled sunroof and hyper-intelligent 2nd generation MBUX (Hey Mercedes) voice assistant capable of communicating with a connected home… are among other high-tech treats. Once again, the “S” strikes very hard in terms of safety with some world firsts such as front airbags in the rear seats and night vision headlights capable of projecting pictograms on the road! On it, the S-Class (W223) can count on the efficiency of six-cylinder engines (gasoline and diesel), as well as a V8 and later a plug-in hybrid version. Dynamically, it will make the difference with its air suspensions, rear-wheel steering and semi-autonomous level 2 driving module, then level 3 in 2021, the year which will see the global launch of this new S-Class, including in Morocco.
