Mercedes wants to catch up in the field of electric cars and unveils several new models that will hit the European market as early as next year and sets out its roadmap.
Following the launch of the EQC SUV in 2019, Mercedes is preparing to release three new models next year: the EQE, its variant SUV and the EQS SUV.

The EQS SUV, the flagship
At Mercedes-Benz, nothing is left to chance and the brand's new electric SUV has already racked up more than 2 million test kilometers in all possible weather conditions.
During its various tests, particular attention was paid to the specificities of electric vehicles, namely autonomy, recharging and efficiency, as reported by Christoph Starzynski, in charge of the architecture of electric vehicles at Mercedes-Benz.
The sedans and SUVs of the EQS will be based on the brand's new electric platform with the star.
EQA, EQE and EQE SUV in stride
Mercedes is not stopping there. After launching the EQC in 2019, the EQA is expected to enter the range in the coming months.
These two electric models, which take up the identification of the range by the last letter of their name (EQA for Class A, EQC for Class C, etc.), will be joined by the EQS and EQE before seeing the range completed by the SUV variations, which we do not know much about at the moment.
According to the roadmap provided by Mercedes-Benz, the EQB will remain to be discovered, based on the manufacturer's flexible modular platform, as will the EQC and EQA. The coming months will therefore be very rich in presentations of new electric vehicles bearing a star.
