The McLaren F1 has a great history. In 1995 it won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and to celebrate its title McLaren produced a limited series under the name McLaren F1 LM (It's not just the name that changes, because the F1 LM is different of the standard multi-level model). One of the copies was painted in 'Orange Papaya', it is this color that was chosen to dress the Senna LM which we are going to talk about.
In total, McLaren will produce only five copies of this Senna. In addition to the color, these Sennas see the power of their V8 engine go from 800 to 825 hp. Note also the arrival of OZ aluminum rims, satin gold exhaust cannulas and a titanium nitride crankset. The manufacturer specifies that the increase in power is accompanied by reworked aerodynamics.
This special series was produced by McLaren Special Operations for the McLaren Orlando and McLaren North Jersey dealers (two US dealers). As for the price, it has not been made public, however, knowing that a McLaren Senna costs more than a million euros, we let you imagine the price of this rarity. But it doesn't matter, because Senna lovers are attached to McLaren's history and its glorious past.
At McLaren, we are also working on the replacement for the 570S. It was seen by our photographers, and now there is no doubt that this car will be a hybrid. Moreover, the manufacturer of Woking will move towards this path, that of the electric, so expect that the novelties of the manufacturer are electrified.
