McLaren presents a 600LT with unique blue gradient paint.

MSO, the personalization department of McLaren, has hit again. For a client of the Toronto-based brand distributor, he designed a unique 600LT paint. Called "Comet Fade", this one must evoke "the brightness and the speed" of a comet passing in the sky.

The color blends three shades of blue into a gradient, from light "Cerulean Blue" to dark "Atlantic Blue" through the "Burton Blue" from the front to the rear of the car. The painting of the vehicle required 120 hours of work. In the cabin, some blue details recall the exterior as the center point marker of the steering wheel, the clipping of certain orders, the stitching of the dark gray alcantara upholstery or the covering of the door panels.

MSO everywhere

Of course, this 600LT is also richly endowed with MSO options. These include sills, air vents and mirrors in apparent carbon fiber, forged wheels, ultra-light seats and the now-standard roof-mounted air intake.

Under the bonnet, we find the V8 3.8L biturbo providing 600h to the rear wheels for 1.247kg dry with optimized aerodynamics and chassis still sharpened compared to the 570S that served as a basis. The price of the 600LT "Comet Fade" has not been communicated.
