“A crisis unit has been set up.” We often know that these few words that we read regularly in the media mean that emergency psychologists are at work. What is less known is that such interventions are also possible in the workplace. In Switzerland, around 100 people are currently recognized as “specialists with additional qualifications in emergency psychology”.
Mathieu Golano, occupational psychologist at the Labor Clinic in Morges, is one of them. He has also held the hat of emergency psychologist since 2017: he intervenes several times a month to prevent or attempt to cure tragedies, which have occurred in the context of work or which, at least, risk having an impact on the well- be collaborators.
