To mark its entry into a new era, Maserati is modifying its logos. The brand will continue to introduce new products, since the MC20 supercar will soon be followed by the new Grecale SUV.
Maserati is entering a new era. At an event in Modena, the Trident unveiled its new flagship, the MC20 supercar. With this vehicle, everything changes, even the logos!
The brand itself says it is an evolution and not a revolution, to make the logos "more contemporary". The oval badge visible above the radiator grille becomes two-tone. The red is abandoned, so there remains the blue and white. The trident was taken off from the lower part. The logo on the sides is simplified: exit the arrow and the oval, only the trident remains. Finally, the lettering on the back is gently revised and adopts a satin chrome appearance.
The kick off of this new era was the opportunity to confirm a festival of novelties. While the manufacturer has offered itself a new standard bearer, it is aware of the need to develop the range and renew the old models. 2021 will be a busy year as Maserati will finally unveil a brand new GranTurismo. And the firm has confirmed the arrival of a second SUV, the Levante's little brother. This one will be called Grecale.
Grecale is the name of a wind blowing in the Mediterranean Sea (Greek in French). Maserati thus continues a long tradition, since several models have wind names (including Ghibli and Levante). For now, the brand has not given more information on the model, we can just guess his muscular silhouette on this teaser.
