After 26 years at Volvo and seven years as President of Volvo Penta Americas, Ron Huibers has decided to retire from his current position. He will be replaced by Martin Bjuve, the current CFO and Executive Vice President, Business Office effective January 1, 2020.
Bjorn Ingemanson, President and CEO of Volvo Penta, announced today that Ron Huibers, President of Volvo Penta Americas, has decided to retire from his current position and assume a new role within the company .
Martin Bjuve, Senior Vice President and CFO of the group, is appointed President of Volvo Penta Americas. He has been working in the group for 17 years where he has developed a vast commercial and client experience.
Prior to becoming Global Chief Financial Officer, Martin was based in Chesapeake, Va., For five years. First as CFO for Volvo Penta of the Americas, then as VP of Customer Support. Previous positions include the CFO Europe region as well as the sale of spare parts and accessories and dealer development in the Nordic countries.
